Are you an adult who's always wanted to learn how to play drums?

It's amazing how many times I hear people say they wish they'd tried to learn to play an instrument, or that they're too old to learn now.

Trust me, it's never too late to start learning to play drums or any instrument.

Sure, It might take a little longer for things to sink in than a younger you, but that isn't a reason to deprive yourself of the opportunity and doesn't mean you're not capable and certainly doesn't mean it will be any less fun or rewarding.

You're a young person or you have a son or daughter who are interested in playing drums?

Awesome! As much as you're never too old, you're also never too young to start either!

If there's an interest and curiosity in playing any musical instrument then, in my opinion, it should be explored.

Maybe drums won't be the instrument of choice in the end, maybe it will be Piano, or Guitar or Flute, who knows. But playing an instrument and having music in your life will always be a good investment, and who knows where it might lead!

When I started at the age of 7 I had no idea where it would lead, but it turned out to be the first day of my career and in my opinion, music is the most reliable friend you'll ever have!

Benefits

Daily life can often be hectic and stressful, regardless of age. School work, exams, business meetings and so on.

Learning to play an instrument can be fun, truly rewarding and a great way to unwind.

Should you choose it can also be a great way to meet other like minded people by playing in groups, joining a band or just talking about it.

Nervous about taking the first steps?

First of all it's important to know that most people feel nervous doing something new, it's a pretty natural feeling regardless of age. I still get nervous walking on stage from time to time, and I have no idea why! I'm not going to say don't be nervous, being nervous is absolutely fine, just don't let it stop you giving this wonderful instrument a shot.

30 Minute Lesson

30 minute lessons are particularly suited for younger players who are just starting and want to find out what playing drums is all about.

However 30 minute lessons are also perfect for adults who are short on time, but still want to learn, enjoy getting behind a drum kit and take a break from the daily grind. â€‹â€‹â€‹

60 Minute Lesson

60 minute lessons are a natural progression for any player regardless of age, but who has decided they want more time behind the kit, more time working together and are keen to progress.

The hour lesson is also perfect for those who cannot commit to a weekly lesson, but instead would prefer a lesson once a fortnight.
